Johannes Siebers

Johannes Siebers is the Co-Founder and CEO of Holidu, a vacation rental technology company he launched in 2014 alongside his brother. Under his leadership, Holidu has grown into one of Europe’s leading proptech platforms, raising approximately $200 million in funding and scaling its host-side business more than 50x between 2020 and 2025.

Holidu operates a software-plus-service model that combines a property management system with hands-on local operations, including onboarding, professional photography, and pricing optimization. This approach has enabled the company to build a portfolio of over 60,000 properties across multiple European markets, many of which had never been listed before.

Johannes has focused on building a resilient and scalable business by prioritizing strong unit economics, operational discipline, and local trust. His work sits at the intersection of technology and hospitality, with a strong emphasis on how AI, brand, and distribution are reshaping the future of travel and short-term rentals.
